Governor of Hawaii David Ige is our Governor. He works in the State Capitol. Some of his responsibilities are: · Leader of the state government. · Approves laws for the state. · Decides how the state’s money will be used. · Makes sure businesses follow the laws. · Represents our state.
Mayor of Honolulu Kirk Caldwell is our mayor, he works in Honolulu Hale. Some of his responsibilities are: · Leader of our city government. · Decides how the city money will be used. · Makes sure fire fighters do their jobs. · Makes sure police officers do their jobs. · Makes sure our trash is picked up. · Makes sure our parks are clean. · Makes sure our roadways are repaired. School Principal MrS. Nambu is our Principal. She works at Mililani Mauka Elementary School. Some of her school responsibilities are: · Makes sure students follow the rules and learn. · Makes school rules. · Answers questions parents have about school. · Shares information about our school. · Decides how to spend our school’s money. · Make sure everyone who works in our school does their job. · Talks to students who make bad choices in school. · Gives out awards to students. · Works with the Vice Principal · Represents our school.

Some of his school responsibilities are: · Makes sure school is safe. · Makes sure students follow the rules and learn. · Works with our JPOs. · Works with our Lunch Supervisors. · Talks to students who make bad choices in school. · Works with Mr. Qureshi. · Represents our school.
