We had a special day today! Many parents and community members came to our career day. Mrs. Kippen and Ms Krayeski came to C110 to share what they do. In the afternoon Uncle Steve from Hawaii News Now visited us too. We found out that even grown ups have responsibilities that are the same as our GLOs.
Xtramath Certificates
Congratulations! Kolten, Baylor, and Kellen have been doing Xtramath at home and are self directed learners! They can answer basic addition facts in less than 3 seconds. Amazing! Xtramath takes just 5 minutes a day to complete and it helps firsties with math fluency.

Did you know we have a Mauka Crochet Club? Our super crafty Rylee learned to crochet there. Rylee spent many recesses making crochet squares. Students and Mauka families made the crochet squares into kindness quilts.
They donated the quilts to the Ronald McDonald House.

We had a special treat on Monday. Students from Mililani High School came to talk to us about the six pillars. Esme and Aulia shared what they know about the pillars and earned a prize! On February 2 from 4:30-7:30 The Mililani Complex Schools will have The Character Counts Fair. There will be food trucks and fun activities at Mililani High School.
