Every student is assigned their own laptop to use in class. We use our laptops with IXL Math, Typing Club, Xtramath.org, Seesaw, Google Apps, to learn something new, to show our learning, and also with our digital reading series called Wonders. Wonders is a Common Core Based Reading Program that has been adopted by the DOE.
Most of the text reading homework will be done on a computer at home. The students will access their accounts from our Mililani Mauka School Website. Each student has their own password and log in to use.

If your child will be using an iPad or tablet device to complete homework assignments, you may want to check your app store to see if apps for these websites are available for your device. Your child may be asked to access other websites from home throughout the school year. In this case, your child will bring home instructions on how to access the websites and assignments.
If a student does not have consistent access to the internet and is unable to complete online assignments, it is the student’s and the parent’s responsibility to inform the teacher so that alternate assignments may be given.
If your child encounters problems accessing a homework assignment on a particular day, please notify me by note or email. You can also check our Maukafirsties.webbly.com web site for on-line program help (under the MORE section).
